Artists

Artists gathers the creative forces orbiting Velunia: musicians, illustrators, photographers, writers, print-makers, collaborators and people making strange work from place, memory, landscape and sound.

This page will become a small directory of work that feels connected to Velunia’s world: heavy, local, atmospheric, handmade, haunted, strange or rooted in landscape.

Music

Velunia is interested in music that feels like weather, ruin, woodland, ritual, industrial memory or myth. Dungeon synth, black metal, dark ambient, folk horror, experimental music and strange local sound all belong here.

The magazine’s music section will include reviews, listening notes, interviews, playlists and dispatches from artists working in these territories.

Visual Work

Velunia welcomes photography, drawing, collage, print, illustration and visual fragments. The work does not need to be polished. It should feel alive, specific and connected to the magazine’s world.

Ruins, towers, rivers, trees, stones, mud, industrial remains, strange figures, sigils, maps and invented relics are all welcome.
